After a long day of great presentations and informative classes, the Oregon Sheep Growers Association delegation out did themselves this evening with a tremendously successful scholarship auction!
Anchored by a plethora of Pendleton Woolen Mills ( http://www.pendleton-usa.com/ ) products and an upbeat crowd more than $10,000 was made in just over two hours to put towards their youth scholarship fund.
Auctioneer Mac Stewart kept the capacity crowd on the edge of their seats with their hands in the air throughout the night. Several key bidders led to a number of frenzied bidding wars including several items garnering well over $500 apiece to go towards the worthwhile cause.
Ever supportive of the future of the sheep industry, the OSGA membership certainly stepped up tonight to show their support for our state’s youth!
